What to know
- Maternity waiting periods on international plans are long. Add maternity coverage as soon as you begin planning a pregnancy.
- Packages are itemized. Epidural, extra nights, and NICU care are usually billed in addition to the published package price.
- Some families have prenatal visits at a UFH clinic closer to home and deliver at the Lido hospital.
An English-speaking doctor
This site does not list named obstetricians. Rosters change. Ask the international or special-needs desk for the current English-speaking attending list, then meet two doctors before you buy a package.
